Fat plants


An intergenetic hybrid general, the name derives from the fusion of aporocactus and epiphyllum, but many other succulents are certainly present in the ancestor of the vaporophyllum. It produces enlarged tufts, consisting of thin arched or hanging stems, green in various shades depending on the species, or reddish-green, furrowed by showy ribs with numerous dark or yellow spines.
